An individual who used the Mortgage Rights Act in Scotland to stop a lender repossessing his home now faces the possibility the Scottish Legal Aid Board will take the house, despite the fact he won his case. Maybe the Legal Aid Board should go chase the lenders for recovery of the legal aid which won the case. Mike Dailly of the Govan Law Centre appears in the video – rather than informing us that lawyers won’t take on such cases in the future, he & his colleagues would do better to go to court and ensure Legal Aid and access to justice is available for anyone – rather than who lawyers choose to represent.
